Naxos
Plaka
This particular beach is a continuation of the beach of Agia Anna and that of Agios Prokopios, it is one of the most beautiful and long beaches of Naxos. Fine white sand with large dunes, an enchanting setting. Next to the sea there are taverns and rooms for rent with a view of the endless blue. Plaka is one of the first preferred destinations in Naxos in recent years and we think not justifiably!
Saint Anna
It belongs to the famous beaches of Naxos and is the natural continuation of Agios Prokopios, an equally well-known beach. Its characteristic fine sand is accompanied by beautiful cedars offering a natural shade to its swimmers. Clear waters, welcoming and turquoise make the beach perfect. Also on the beach you will find the well-known beach bars to combine your dives with cocktails.
Agios Prokopios
The most famous beach in Greece, is located 5 km away from the city of Naxos, in a sheltered location, has white sand and stretches for 1.5 km. It is well organized and offers visitors many opportunities for sunbathing and for water sports of all kinds.
Saint George
Just three (3) minutes from the town of Naxos and moving South we find the beach of Agios Georgios, a sandy and crowded beach with shallow waters and protected from the winds, which is known to be a frequent phenomenon for the Cyclades. Ideal for families and small children and for water sports.
Agiassos
Another sandy beach, a peaceful landscape of endless blue. It is worth visiting and bathing in its crystal clear waters, especially if you are tired of the hustle and bustle of the popular beaches.
Psili Ammos
On the eastern side of Naxos you will find the beach "Psili Ammos", between Moutsounas and Panormos. Beach with fine sand (as its name says) and tall trees (cedars) on sand dunes. Another beach in Naxos with a unique landscape, almost tropical, will make you forget about problems and stress.
Alyko
Alykos is located on the Southwest side of Naxos and is 20km from Chora. It is a small but exotic and sheltered beach surrounded by cedars. Access is easy and the road is asphalt. In the area there are also some taverns, essential after the sea.
Moytsoyna
Natural port of the island which is 38 km from Chora of Naxos. Moutsouna is connected with the history of emery and by visiting the area you will have the opportunity to see the aerial railway of the emery mines of Naxos which is among the top industrial monuments of Greece.
Mikri Vigla
As we understand from its name (Vigla) it used to be an observatory, apparently for the danger of pirates in Naxos. In essence there are 2 beaches, Limanaki and Parthenos separated by a rock. Great sandy beaches on both beaches. Parthenos beach is a meeting place for kitesurfing and windsurfing lovers where the weather conditions are ideal for these sports. The special thing here is that while on one beach strong winds can blow, on the other beach the visitor can enjoy his bath, without any wind.
Pyrgaki
The beach got its name from the hill that is there and was an observation post for pirates (as in Vigla). It is a fairytale location on the southwest coast of Naxos, with a long beach (sand), while inland there are cedars and skins. If you prefer this particular beach in Naxos, chances are you won't find enough people, but it will reward you with its beauty.
Kastraki
The longest beach of Naxos (3 km long). with fine white sand and deep blue waters. The beach is ideal for peace and relaxation or for fishing or swimming. Due to the large area there are several access points to the beach. Kastraki is ideal for walking from one end to the other and is also ideal for lighting a fire on a full moon night...
